Styled Sustainably
At Cotswolds Designer Outlet, we’ve not just built a place to shop, we’ve created a destination that celebrates the natural beauty of the Cotswolds and gives back to the community we call home. From eco-conscious construction to supporting local makers, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do.
Celebrating Local Craft & Materials
Our design reflects the charm and heritage of the Cotswolds, with locally sourced materials and traditional craftsmanship woven throughout the architecture.

By working with skilled regional trades like stonemasons, we’ve stayed true to the character of the area while supporting local talent.
We also follow a sustainable purchasing policy, giving priority to suppliers within 25 miles or a 30-minute drive of the centre. We’re proud to work with B-Corp certified and local businesses and others who share our values.
Building Responsibly, Right from the Start
From the very beginning, we’ve taken steps to reduce our environmental footprint. During construction, site cabins were powered by solar energy, just one of the ways we kept sustainability front and centre.

wagamama
wagamama’s fully electric kitchens reduce fossil fuel use and support a healthier workspace. Smart energy systems track usage in real time, helping cut waste and costs.
Water-saving sensors and flow restrictors manage consumption, while heat recovery systems reuse excess heat to warm water. All locations use 100% LED lighting.
Greener Travel Choices
We’re making it easier for you to choose greener travel options. On weekends and bank holidays, a shuttle bus links the outlet to the local train station and town centre. Electric vehicle drivers will find 20 fast-charging bays on site, and bike racks are available for those arriving on two wheels.
Zero Waste to Landfill
We’re proud to say we send zero waste to landfill. Thanks to our partnership with Rype Furniture, we’ve diverted over 1,100 kg of furniture from landfill, cutting more than 3,500 kg of carbon emissions, the equivalent of driving around the world…

Denby
Denby’s Made in England stoneware is crafted sustainably, reflecting their commitment to conscious living. They’re the first UK tableware brand to achieve zero process waste to landfill.
Most items are sold without packaging, and any used is responsibly sourced and fully recyclable.

Radley
Radley’s ‘Radley Responsible’ collection transforms plastic bottles into stylish recycled polyester bags, finished with low-emission water-based PU.
With recycled packaging, eco-friendly materials, and ongoing supplier audits, Radley is committed to minimising its environmental impact across every part of its business.
Nurturing Nature
Nature is part of the experience at Cotswolds Designer Outlet. Our landscaped areas feature native planting and wildflowers designed to support bees, butterflies and other local pollinators. We know small touches like these have a big impact on local biodiversity.

A passion shared by our retailers
The Perfume Shop proudly opened their ‘greenest ever store’ at Cotswolds Designer Outlet. It features a host of recycled and sustainable materials, including worktops made from repurposed fridges and fully recyclable flooring. The store also runs on 100% renewable energy.
Visitors can also get involved through their ‘Return. Recycle. Repeat’. program: Drop off your empty perfume bottles, enjoy 15% off your next purchase, and a tree will be planted for every bottle returned – what’s not to love!
Whether you’re here for fashion, food, or a relaxing day out, you can feel good knowing your visit supports a more sustainable future. Shopping has never looked (or felt) so green.
